The CERN Computer Security Team is organising a Hands-on Incident Response and Forensics workshop aimed at sysadmins and security professionals involved in the WLCG computing grid or the wider research and education (R&E) community who wish to gain practical skills in incident response and forensics.
Participants will learn techniques for identifying, collecting and analysing digital evidence using open-source tools. There will be tabletop exercises combined with hands-on exercises.
The workshop will take place at CERN on 29-30 September 2025.
