GÉANT learning: Client Privacy and Security

Earlier this year, GÉANT created an “Operational network security” training programme for its members. In September the second sub-module took place entitled Client Privacy and Security. The module consisted of the following webinars:

• Web browsers Security and Privacy,
• Email Security and Privacy,
• Instant Messaging Security and Privacy,
• An Overview of Best Practices for Videoconferencing Security and Privacy,
• Office Suites.

The session on Email Security and Privacy, with recommendations on how to handle the most common issues, was led by the EGI CSIRT member Tobias Dussa.
