EGI CSIRT runs 2nd at the FIRST security conference CTF competition

Over 1000 delegates attended this year’s 31st Annual Conference at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre in Edinburgh, from June 16 to 21, 2019.  Themes explored throughout the week included the security implications of the IoT, exploring how to anticipate what an attacker might do to a system and how to avoid it. Security sessions covered the latest research from several academics on topics including the Border Gateway Protocol and promoted the worldwide coordination and cooperation among Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs).

At the Capture the Flag competition the EGI CSIRT members ran 2nd (out of 49 teams).
